Objective

“Enabling Knowledge collaboration for future cities”- Asia BRTS aims at bringing asian region transportation design fraternity, system stakeholders and users on a common platform of knowledge sharing. This platform would enable knowledge diffusion within the asian cities and enable best practices being implemented for the benefit of individual cities.

The integrated conference had two major objectives

UNESCAP regional group meeting on sustainable and inclusive transport development-2014

To share ideas, issues and experiences in and better more sustainable inclusive transportation among government policy makers, transport planners, city officials, public transport operators and service providers. To provide an enabling platform for the key stakeholders in Asia and the Pacific to share knowledge and experience and to discuss emerging issues and promote the development of sustainable and inclusive transport systems and services.

Second Asia BRTS

To bring Asia region transportation planning and design fraternity, system stake holders and users on a common platform of knowledge sharing to the benefit of individual cities, which have implemented BRTS Systems or are in the process of doing so and also give an exposure for cities that are considering BRTS
